ABOUT ME

A hardworking and authentic journalist with a passion for redefining the boundaries of fashion and beauty, Madiha's hope is to bring awareness to a more diverse and inclusive model of beauty. Her journey started at the London College of Fashion where she achieved a first class degree in BA (Hons) in Fashion Design and Marketing. Madiha then went on to further her academic studies and successfully completed a course in Rhetoric: The Art of Persuasive Writing and Public Speaking by Harvard University.

 

Based in Dubai but born and raised in London, Madiha's mixed background has allowed her to draw fashion and beauty inspiration from both Western and Eastern cultures. With valuable experience across leading digital and print publications, Madiha's work has been published both regionally and internationally in publications including Vogue Arabia, Aquarius, Stylist, GQ and Dazed & Confused.

With over a decade experience in high-fashion and media makeup including bridal, theatre and runway, Madiha successfully completed an intensive 8 week course at the New York Makeup Academy. She is also certified by Kim Kardashian’s renowned makeup artist, Mario Dedivanovic and has since gone on to work with celebrity clients such as Lindsay Lohan, Karen Wazen and Lana El Sahely.

 

A dedicated member of UNICEF, a United Nations agency responsible for providing humanitarian and developmental aid to children worldwide. Madiha's role as a Global Volunteer involves her working closely with children and women from underprivileged backgrounds.
